Kirk Daniel Cousins, a quarterback with the National Football League’s Minnesota Vikings, was born on August 19, 1988. He was selected by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft as a backup to fellow rookie Robert Griffin III, who played his college football at Michigan State.
